Okay! Can you help me to get to where I wanna go?? I want to create a website full of different information, blah blah blah. But I want to be able to have advertisements on there that I can make money off of. I am not computer literate so you really need to spell things out for me. What type of yahoo web thingy do I need in order to do this, or any other company for that matter. I%26#039;m not looking to spend a fortune but looking to gain one..... Any help is appreciated!! I checked into web hosting at yahoo but I think it was for a small business. The page is not for a small business but rather personal ... kinda ... but the geocities is not for me. 1) Grab one of the low-budget shared hosting plans at HostGator (less than $4 a month)
2) Use the Fantastico automated install on your new hosting account to install Drupal with a couple of easy clicks.
3) If you like to write, start posting some articles to your new site so you%26#039;ve got some content, hopefully with a theme or series of related subjects. Alternately, get friends to sign up as registered users and get THEM to write some articles. Or go to online free article databases and grab some that fit your site%26#039;s theme.
4) Once you%26#039;ve got something of substance on your site, apply for a Google AdSense account.
5) Go the the Drupal website and install the AdSense module.
6) Configure the AdSense module for your site and BAM! - instant pay-per-click ads.
7) Write more articles, or add some from free article databases on the web. Keep adding new articles every week, and encourage registered users to add comments. The more activity you have on your site, the more frequently search engine robots will visit your site for indexing. Which means more visits from users, and more clicks on your ads.

Reply:I think what you are talking about are %26quot;affilate%26quot; programs where you post a link to a mercant and if something gets sold off of your link you receive a few cents (and believe me it IS only a few cents) I know Amazon.com has them you might check other places, I think Ebay has them. But keep in mind you%26#039;re NOT going to make a lot of money this way. They don%26#039;t pay for every click from your page, you only get paid IF the person who enters the merchant%26#039;s site from your site actually makes a perchase and then you usually get no more than three cents for each purchase. So if a person makes a $100.00 perchase all you get is 3 cents out of that $100.00 and that could be for an entire week. When I go to a website I RARELY check out the advertisers on the site and I don%26#039;t know many people who actually do.

Wedding Gallery do you like it ?
Hi, I am a web designer and I am starting a small business for weddings. After your wedding photographer takes pictures I am able to create your site , you choose domain name. And I will take care of registration, web hosting + design. I have 12 styles. And would like to know what you think, please help me to improve it by your feedback , do you like it ? and why? or you do not like it ? and why? I don%26#039;t think this is any different from many, many other web sites offering the same features and more. I didn%26#039;t see a way to add comments or change the name of the pictures. And the writing on the web site is not good; there are too many errors to inspire confidence.

I was just nosing around the site, and I think its a good idea. That way family that couldn%26#039;t attend the wedding can see the pictures right away. I wish they had this when I got married, but unfortunately, my wedding photos are being restored due to Hurricane Katrina damage. Plus, my photographer lived in Chalmette, so the original negatives are gone too. At least online pictures can be saved!

Yahoo Site Solution wont start?
I am a Yahoo Small Business Subscriber. When I go to the Web Hosting Control Panel and select the %26quot;Create %26amp; Update %26quot; tab then the %26quot;Site Solution%26quot; button, it says %26quot;Loading%26quot;, then takes me back to the %26quot;Home%26quot; tab of Control Panel. There is no message about a pop-up trying to load.

Lastly you can go in and check to make sure all your ports that you need are properly configured and make sense. Get rid of any entries that you no longer use and are blocking ports. Not only can this help with the problem but it will make it more secure by eliminating possible holes in your security from programs that you don%26#039;t use not using the ports anymore.

Not that it is a great marketing book, but Napoleon Hill%26#039;s %26quot;Think and Grow Rich%26quot; is probably the most inspiring business (or personal) book I have read. And Mr. Hill was certainly a man who relied on the %26quot;spiritual powers%26quot; to assist him in his life endeavors.

I run a small design studio with 2 full-time members of staff and a host of freelancers. We produce a wide range of printed material as well as provide web-design services for small businesses and sole traders.
At the moment I am OVERLOADED with work and am desperate to find another UK freelancer who I can work with in purely on online/telephone capacity (so location is unimportant) producing simple HTML sites with a real touch of creative flair. The pay isn%26#039;t fabulous, as we%26#039;re only a small firm and are generally thought of as very low-cost, but it is legitimate and will add paid work to your portfolio
